LANGUAGE CLASSIFICATION
Based on the AIIC definition, the working languages of TKTD members are categorised as “A”, “B” and “C”. “A” and “B” languages are “active” and “C” languages are “passive”.

B Language: A language or languages which are not the interpreter’s mother tongue but of which he/she has an excellent command. As with A language, the interpreter interprets into this language from all other working languages.
C Language: The language or languages that the interpreter fully understands and translates into A and B languages.
